Safety

Safety is a field discipline, not a policy document. It is run by the superintendent or it is not run at all.

OSHA 30. Fall Protection, Scaffold, Forklift and Aerial Lift. First Aid and CPR. Forty years of running crews, including fourteen years as safety lead on Army Corps of Engineers work, where the documentation standard is federal and it does not relax.

On a live site, safety is sequencing. Most incidents come from trades stacked on top of each other, access that was never planned, or a crew improvising because the material did not show up. All three are schedule failures before they are safety failures, and all three are the superintendent's to prevent.

What that means in practice: the sequence is planned before the trades arrive, the site is walked daily, and the person walking it has the authority to stop work.

What we do not publishDTM Construction does not publish an Experience Modification Rate or a Total Recordable Incident Rate. As a new entity it does not yet have a rated loss history to publish, and quoting a previous employer's rate as our own would be false. We would rather tell you that here than have you find it out during prequalification. What we can put in front of you is the certification record above, forty years of field leadership, and references on request.
